2009-05-28
Rome - On May 14 at the Department of Agricultural, Food and Forestry, the Minister Luca Zaia and the Secretary of State for Trade and Economic Development, Rita Lau, signed a deal between Italy and Hong Kong on a wine cooperation. One of the Italian most important agricultural and food product will be further enhanced in the East.
The agreement has five main aims: promoting any possible collaboration between the two parties for fair initiatives; facilitating investment between industrialists of the wine sector, helping the connection between wine and tourism sectors; encourage all initiatives to stamp out fraud activities and faking and improve the control system of the wine product's origin.
In Hong Kong the Italian products are always a sign of quality and safety. It is proof that the Made in Italy is not only wine but also a wide food and wine range of Italian excellence: from the olive oil to hams, from cheese to canned tomatoes.
