The Father's Day tradition will feature amazing Italian food representing generations-old recipes from Chicago's "Best Kept Secret," the fabulous restaurants located in Chicago's Little Tuscany at 24th Street and Oakley Avenue. Continuous family entertainment will hail from around the country including The Bronx Wanderers from NYC, who have come to be Italian festival favorites here in Chicago and The Scintas, one of the most popular acts in Las Vegas, will make their Chicago debut on Sunday. John Michael Coppola, former Jersey Boy cast member will also bring his show to the main stage. New this year, The "Jazz on the Vine" experience will showcase great wines and awesome Italian American jazz performers. "It's a true Italian-style block party in one of Chicago's favorite Little Italys," said coordinator Ron Onesti. "This event is all about tradition, it's all about quality, and it's about creating memories." Bacchanalia, Il Vicinato, Miceli's Deli, Ignotz Ristorante and La Fontanella are the classic eateries who will supply the tasty foods available at the event. Over 50 fine wines will be available for sampling. Admission is free, but a donation is requested at the door. Donations foster the business community of the turn of the century neighborhood.
