The best of Italian culture comes together at Chicago's Italian Expo Renaissance, the city's hottest and most exclusive cultural event in town. The who's who of Italian fashion, food, wine and design will be showing off in true Italian style for 3 days.
Top chefs duel it out to prove themselves in cooking competitions, rising fashion designers strut their stuff on the catwalk and companies and vendors from Italy and the U.S. will display and sell their products, straight from Italy
Savor Italian cuisine at the Expo -- rich cheeses, cured meats, gooey melted panini and arancini, a Sicilian specialty best described as rice croquettes. Sip fine wines from sparkling golden Prosecco to full and fruity ruby-red Chianti.
Angelo Caputo's Fresh Market will be on hand to make sure you not only enjoy, but also learn a tidbit or two about Italian foods. Fresh off the boat, the wines of Provenza are sure to wow you and Ruffino wines promise to be the star of the show in the lounge area.
But don't depair - Ruffino isn't just for the cool kids in the lounge. You can also sidle up to their wine bar in the main area for a glass of wine that they have perfectly paired with dishes being served up by top Chicago chefs.
