This festival is hosted to not only promote the strawberry farmers and the industry they have dedicated their lives to, but to give non-profit organizations from around the state the opportunity to raise money for their scholarships or organizations by selling delicious Southern food while demonstrating what the great city of Ponchatoula is all about: family, fun, food, entertainment, and most of all, downright Southern hospitality.
