The Taste of Tioga event advocates the use of high quality foods being produced in and around Tioga County, highlighting the connection and benefit between local farms and restaurants.
Restaurants are supplied with two main ingredients from local farms and are asked to prepare a dish highlighting one or two of the local ingredients, often a fruit or vegetable, and meat. Guests get the chance to taste high quality gourmet style dishes that include soups, salads, main courses and desserts. Wine & Beer tasting are also available, guests take home a souvenir Taste of Tioga wineglass
